William Edward "Junior" Dulin, Jr. Obituary (1966

Mr. William Edward Dulin, Jr., age 57 of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on May 19, 1966 in Carrollton, Kentucky. He was the son of William Edward Dulin, Sr. and Linda Carol Carter Phillips. He attended school in Carrollton and received his GED. He was inducted into the United States Army on March 17, 1986 in Carrollton, Kentucky. He rose to the rate of Private Second Class serving at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He served in the Iraq War and was honorably discharged on September 7, 1992. He worked construction for several years in New York and other areas around the country, but due to suffering PTSD in the Army he eventually became disabled. He held membership in the Carrollton American Legion and the Major Samuel Woodfill Post No. 9 of the American Legion. Junior enjoyed camping, being outdoors, working hard and riding his lawn mower. Junior died on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 1:09 p.m. at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Please Click Here to View the Video Tribute Please Click Here to View the Funeral Service Recording A LOVING FAMILY Junior will be missed by his loving mother, Linda Carol Carter Phillips of Madison, Indiana; his brother, Tim Carter and his wife, Judy of Walton, Kentucky; his nephews and his nieces, Jacob Carter, Devin Carter and his wife, Bethany, Brittany Carter, and Brianna Carter; two his aunts, Darlene Wright of Carrollton, Kentucky, Wanda Mefford of Carrollton, Kentucky; his uncle, Paul Carter of Madison, Indiana; several cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Lee "Jamie" Lovings, died April 30, 2021, his step dad, Delbert W. Phillips, died May 13, 2011, his grandparents, Gaines and Edna Inman Carter. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., by Rev. Skip Napier at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1415 North Gate Road in Madison, Indiana. VISITATION Friends may visit Thursday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. MILITARY HONORSA final salute with military honors will be provided by the Major Samuel Woodfill Post No. 9 of the American Legion.
