Let Us Pause To Honor the Memory of William Andrew "Bill" Bush, Sr. Mr. William Andrew "Bill" Bush, Sr., age 87, of Lexington, Indiana entered this life on April 12, 1933 in Deputy, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late Otis H. and Della Mae Vanover Bush. A 1951 graduate of Deputy High School, Bill served in the United States Army from 1953-1955 as a private first class during the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Ruby Baker on November 2, 1952 in Austin, Indiana. This happy union of 58 years was blessed with four daughters, Sheila, Terri, Donna, Lora, and a son, William "Bill",II. He worked at Cosco in Columbus, Indiana as a factory worker and maintenance worker, retiring in 1993. He also farmed for many years on the land that he loved. He was baptized by Brother Bob Hicks and was a member of the North Madison Christian Church in Madison, Indiana. He enjoyed being outdoors and being with his family. Bill died on Saturday, July 4, 2020, at his residence near Lexington, Indiana. Bush, II and his wife Tracy of Lexington, Indiana; his loving daughters, Sheila Coy and her husband Jerry of Deputy, Indiana, Terri Seibert of Scottsburg, Indiana, Donna Bush Griffin and her husband, William of Lexington, Indiana, and Lora Kaye Bush of Scottsburg; his loving grandchildren, Amanda Briggs (Brad), Heather Reel (Rusty), James Maggard, II (Liz), Amber Stamper, Sarah Stites, Cynthia Bush and Audrey Boswell (Ryan); his great-grandchildren, Michael Briggs, Skylar Gross, Ethan Shuler, Lauren Stamaper, James Maggard, III, Korinna and Alicia Eurton, Braden Berggren, Matthew Stites, Lilyana Eurton, Alexander Boswell, London Maggard, Teagan McCormick, Allison Briggs; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Otis H. Bush, his mother, Della Mae Vanover Bush, his brother, Melvin Leroy Bush, his beloved wife of 58 years, Ruby Baker Bush, died June 24, 2011; his sister, Mary Lee Bush Povaleri and her husband, Tulio; his son in law, Jerry Siebert died August 13, 2016. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. by Brother Bob Hicks at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Bethany Cemetery near Deputy, Indiana. VISITATION Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. MILITARY HONORSFull military honors will be performed at the cemetery, Thursday, at 1:00 p.m. by the Major Samuel Woodfill Post No. 9 of the American Legion Honor Guard.
