Wendellynn Jean "Wendy" Nay Obituary (1944

Ms. Wendellynn Jean Nay, age 65, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on July 2, 1944, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the daughter of Merle Lee, Sr. & Mary L. TenEyck Nay. She was raised near Canaan and resided in Madison most of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Wendy enjoyed collecting angels and visiting with her friends. She appreciated the staff and friends at the Water's of Clifty Falls. Wendy died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. in the Emergency Room at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana. A LOVING FAMILY Wendy will be missed by her brother: Ralph D. Nay, Sr. & his wife: Tammy of New Albany, Indiana; her sisters in law: Jean Stivers Nay of Madison, Indiana and Scarlott Nay of New Bern, North Carolina; her step mother: Margaret Nay of Madison, Indiana; her step sisters: Frankie Long of Madison, Indiana and Deborah Tharp of Louisville, Kentucky; her uncle: Floyd C. "Bud" Scarlett of Madison, Indiana; her aunt: Deanie Bryant of Plainfield, Indiana; her nephews: Morey Nay & his wife: Jenny of Madison, Indiana, R. D. Nay & his wife: Tracia of California, Merle L. "Buddy" Nay, III & his wife: Kelly of New Port, North Carolina, Charles Robert Nay & his wife: Deena of Havelock, North Carolina, Clifton Grant Nay of New Bern, North Carolina, William Marion Nay & Andrea of New Bern, North Carolina; her niece: Kimberly Dawn Nay Moran of New Bern, North Carolina; several other great nieces, great nephews & other relatives. She was preceded in death by her mother: Mary L. TenEyck Nay died: May 29, 1976; her father: Merle Lee Nay, Sr. died: April 11, 1999; her brother: Merle Lee Nay Jr. died: October 10, 2006; her grandparents: Delbert Grant & Della Mabel Scott Nay. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., by Rev. Randy Crutchfield and Eulogist: Bill Briner at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Cemetery in Pleasant, Indiana. VISITATION Friends may call Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
