Velena Victoria "Lena" Campbell Lamb Obituary (1947

Mrs. Velena "Lena" Victoria Campbell Lamb, age 77 of Austin, Indiana, entered this life on July 3, 1947 in Anco, Kentucky. She was the loving daughter of the late Lewis Joe "Junior" and Cloa West Campbell. She was a 1966 graduate of Austin High School in Austin, Indiana. On June 28, 1974, she was united in marriage to Ronald Everett Lamb in Scottsburg, Indiana. This happy union of 50 years blended two families and was blessed to raise their children, Melissa, Bradley, Whitney and Justine. She worked at Morgan Foods in Austin, Indiana for 33 years before retiring in 2006. She was a member of the Austin Christian Church. She enjoyed maintaining her home and tending to her flowers. Please Click Here to View the Funeral Service Recording A LOVING FAMILY Velena will be missed by her daughters, Whitney Crady and her husband Daniel of Austin, Indiana, Justine Lamb of Pekin, Indiana; her stepdaughter, Melissa Warner and her husband Joe of Lexington, Indiana; her stepson, Bradley Lamb and his wife Wanda of Deputy, Indiana; her sister, Ruby Allen and her husband Sam of Gainesville, Florida; 21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gary Lamb and his wife, Donna of Madison, Indiana, Lloyd Lamb and his wife, Pam of Madison, Indiana, Gavin Lamb and his wife, Marianne of Denton, Texas, Wanda Lamb Shelley of Madison, Indiana, Delma Lamb Harmon and her husband, Bob of Sun City, Arizona, Lisa Lamb Ward and her husband, Chuck of Milton, Kentucky, Janet Lamb of Pike Road, Alabama; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Joe "Junior" Campbell, died February 1, 1989, her mother, Cloa West Campbell, died February 16, 2006, her beloved husband of fifty years, Ronald Everett Lamb, died January 11, 2025. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., by Pastor David Huey and Pastor Darrin Wan at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Campbell Cemetery near Austin, Indiana. VISITATION Friends may visit Monday, March 10, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
