HANOVER CHAPEL Let Us Pause To Honor the Memory of Mrs. Towana R. Kiser Couch Mrs. Towana R. Kiser Couch, age 78, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on December 9, 1941 in Whitesburg, Kentucky. She was the loving daughter of the late Buford Emry and Mandy Collins Kiser. She was raised and schooled in Letcher County moving to Jefferson County in 1963. On June 27, 1959 she was united in marriage to Garfield Couch by her grandfather Charlie Kiser in Colson, Kentucky. This happy union of 60 years was blessed with sons, Mark Shane and Jason Blue and a daughter, Ginger Robin. Towana was a devoted wife, loving mom and mamaw. She retired in 1993 after 21 years of service in production and assembly for Grote Industries in Madison. She was a member of the Valley Settlement Old Regular Baptist Church near Deputy. Towana loved playing Corn Hole and was good at it, also playing cards with her family, gardening, the outdoors, and being with her children and grandchildren. She watched NASCAR and driver Kyle Bush and NBA Basketball the Golden State Warriors. Towana died on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at 12:11 p.m. at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky with her loving family at her side. Please Click Here to View the Video Tribute A LOVING FAMILY Towana will be missed by her loving husband of 60 years, Garfield Couch of Madison, Indiana; her loving daughter, Ginger Robin Couch of Madison, Indiana; her loving sons, Mark Shane Couch and his wife, Teresa of North Vernon, Indiana, Jason Blue Couch and his wife, Heather of Otisco, Indiana; her loving grandchildren, Elaine Marie Ewertz, Emily Amanda Reyes, Evan Michael Couch, Summer Brook Marshall, Jordan Holly Adams, Lucas Preston Couch, Jacob Bruce Carver, Tanner Bruce Carver, Beverly Dawn Robbins, and Rebecca Collins; her adoring great grandchildren, Emma, Ellie, Shawn Matthew, Lucito, Trinity, Vincent, and Jaxson; her sister in law, June Kiser of Dupont, Indiana; her brother in law, Robert Elswick of Madison, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Buford Emry Kiser, her mother, Mandy Collins Kiser, her brothers, Charles, Hobart, Joe, Wayne, and Buford Larry Kiser, her sisters, Tammy Kiser and Annetta Elswick, and her grandson, Adam Shane Couch. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 26, 2020, at 1:00 p.m., by Pastor Mike Shuler at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre - Hanover Chapel, 278 East Main Street in Hanover, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens, 9306 North US 421 in Madison, Indiana. VISITATION Friends may visit Saturday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre - Hanover Chapel, 278 East Main Street in Hanover, Indiana.
