Tim Hensley

Mr. Timothy Wayne Hensley, known affectionately as Tim, was born on August 28, 1969 in Madison, Indiana. He was the beloved son of the late Paul F. Hensley and Barbara Marie Ledbetter Hensley Young. Tim spent his formative years in Switzerland County, Indiana before his family relocated to Madison in 1983. A dedicated worker, Tim served as a bucket foreman for Townsend Tree Service in Clark County, Indiana for 32 years, a testament to his commitment and hard work. He was a familiar face at both Hebron Baptist Church and Cornerstone Baptist Church, where he and his wife Mary had attended services.

Tim's life was enriched by a deep love for his family and a passion for the simple joys of life. He was united in marriage to Mary Wise on October 27, 2018 in Madison, Indiana. This union blended two families, bringing together five children. Tim loved spending time outdoors, whether it was camping, riding his golf cart, or going on family vacations to Gatlinburg. He also enjoyed frequent visits to Belterra and spending quality time with his grandchildren. Tim's dedication to his family and friends was clear in everything he did, as he always put them first.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Mary Wise Hensley of Hanover, Indiana; his son Justin Perkinson; his step-children Joshua Thomas, Jonathan Thomas and Erica Haase; his 18 grandchildren; his sister Brenda Briely (Orville); his brother Keith Hensley (Susie); his step-sisters Susie Dishman and Connie Walker (Vaughn); his nieces Korina Briely, Kendra Briely, Elizabeth Briely and Billie Sue Watts; his nephews Brayden Tolliver and Sam Hensley. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul F. Hensley; his mother, Barbara Marie Ledbetter Hensley Young; his son Tony Hensley; his grandparents Kenneth Ledbetter, Sr. and Josephine Ledbetter; his grandparents Onis Hensley and Dorothea Hensley; his half-brother Samuel Hensley; his uncle Kenneth Ledbetter, Jr.; his aunt Edna Turner.

Visitation will be held at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, located at 325 Demaree Drive, Madison, Indiana, 47250, on Sunday, October 25, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., and again on Monday, October 26, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. The funeral service will follow the second visitation, also at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, on Monday, October 26, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
