Theresa Worrall Noble

Mrs. Theresa N. Worrall Noble, age101, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on April 18, 1909 in Jefferson County, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late, Leonard C. & Bessie Nay Worrall. She resided nearly all of her life in Jefferson County and was a graduate of Central High School. Theresa was united in marriage on April 5, 1930 in Jefferson County to William M. Noble. They shared fifty five years of marriage together until his death on July 17, 1985. She had resided for many years in the Caledonia community in Jefferson County and farmed with her late husband. She was a member of the Caledonia Presbyterian Church near Moorefield, Indiana and had played the Organ & Piano for 32 years. She moved to Madison in 1973 and had attended Smyrna Monroe Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Bennington Rebekah Lodge No. 851and played the piano for their ceremonies. She was a member of the Bennington Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 407. She enjoyed being a member of the Madison Senior Citizens and played in the band there for many years. She always enjoyed the Canaan Fall Festival and played her fiddle there for many years. She was a member of the Jefferson County Farm Bureau. Theresa was lovingly cared for by Mary & Kenny Hord and family for the past 30 years. She had enjoyed being treated as a grandmother and great grandmother by the love shown to her by the Hord family. Theresa loved music and enjoyed playing the fiddle, piano, organ, accordion and guitar. She enjoyed sharing her gift of music with many people, festivals and organizations. Theresa always had a smile on her face and never met a stranger. Theresa died Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 10:00 p.m. at the Davis Elderly Care in Hanover Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY
Theresa will be missed by her loving caregiver: Kenny Hord of Madison, Indiana; her adopted grandchildren: Kevin, Kerry & Karen Hord of Madison, Indiana; her adopted great grandchildren: Devon & Katilyn Hord. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard C. & Bessie Nay Worrall; her husband, William M. Noble died, July 17, 1985; her caregiver & best friend, Mary McClure Hord died, Sept. 13, 2009.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. by Elder Wally Hines at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Caledonia Cemetery near Moorefield, Indiana.

VISITATION
Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.

MEMORIAL EXPRESSIONS
Memorial contributions may be made to the Madison Senior Citizens or the Caledonia Cemetery Association. Cards are available at the funeral home.
