Terrie Lynn Cox

Terrie Lynn Cox, age 44, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on April 16, 1979 in Madison, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of Richard Burton Cox and Sharon Lloyd. She has resided most of her life in the Madison community. Early in life, Terrie worked for Lowe's Distribution Center in North Vernon for several years. She was blessed with a daughter Savanna Jean. Terrie worked for the BP in Hanover and Milton for several years. She was later married to Ryan Michael Foster and this union was blessed with two daughters, Jewel Marie and Rebecca Rose. Terrie also worked for the Dollar General in downtown Madison for many years. She was currently employed at Hanover Health and Rehab Center where she was an activity aid. Terrie was a people person and loved helping and serving others. She enjoyed dancing, drawing, coloring, and listening to music. Most of all, Terrie loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her three daughters. Terrie died suddenly in a car accident on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 8:37 a.m. in Madison, Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY Terrie will be missed by her loving mother, Sharon Lloyd of Madison, Indiana; her father, Richard Burton Cox of Madison, Indiana; her life partner, Quentin Towne of Madison, Indiana; her daughters, Savanna Jean McDowell of Madison, Indiana, Jewel Marie Foster of Trenton, Ohio, and Rebecca Rose Foster of Trenton, Ohio; her step son, Trentin Towne of Fort Wayne, Indiana; her brothers, Brian A. Cox and his wife Amanda of Forney, Texas, and Timothy Cox and his wife Gia of Madison, Indiana; her uncle, Brian T. Cox of Madison, Indiana; her great aunt, Phyllis Walker of Columbus, Indiana; her close friend, Katrina Adams of Lexington, Indiana; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Richard and Mildred T. Cox; and her maternal grandparents, Robert and Opal Greene.

THE CELEBRATION OF TERRIE'S LIFEThe Celebration of Terrie's Life will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Western Fire Company No. 3, 815 West Main Street, Madison, Indiana 47250.
