Teresa Lynn Snyder Cummins

Mrs. Teresa Lynn Snyder Cummins , age 49, of Hope Mills, North Carolina, formerly of Madison, Indiana entered this life on August 30, 1963 in Madison Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late Evelyn Conway Snyder and Thomas Guarino. She was a 1981 graduate of Trimble County High School in Milton and of Fayetteville Technical College with certifications in manufacturing and banking. Teresa was the loving wife and greatest supporter of her Army husband of 28 years. Teresa and Greg were united in marriage on October 12, 1985 in Milton, Kentucky. This happy union was blessed with one daughter, Miranda Lynn. She kept a caring and devoted household in his absence through two wars and numerous deployments. She was the loving mother of her pride and joy: daughter Miranda. She loved her Boxer dog Thor and her feisty Boston Terriers Niko and Rupert. She loved to crochet, solve puzzles, travel, and keeping up with her favorite soaps. She lived in Germany for six joyful years and loved to Volksmarch with her husband and daughter in small out of the way towns. While living in Madison she was employed as a fountain cook at Rogers Drug Store, at Rite Aid pharmacy, and later in Germany as a marketing specialist for the Army Air Force Exchange System, in North Carolina with Black and Decker manufacturing Dewalt tools. Teresa and her family also resided in Augusta, Georgia, and Killen, Texas. Teresa passed away on 28 July, 2013 at her residence with her family at her side. A LOVING FAMILY Teresa will be missed by her loving husband of 28 years, Gregory L. Cummins of Hope Mills, North Carolina; her daughter, Miranda Lynn Cummins of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; her step father, Dick Snyder of Batesville, Indiana; her step sister, Mendy Snyder of Batesville, Indiana; her step brother, Allen Snyder of Louisville, Kentucky; her aunt, Connie Conway of Louisville, Kentucky; her uncle, Ronnie Conway of New Carlisle, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Guarino; her mother, Evelyn Conway Snyder, her grandmother, Norma Guarino; her grandmother, Georgia Conway; her numerous aunts and uncles. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 3, 2013, at 7:00 pm, at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana. VISITATION Friends may call Saturday from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM and from until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana. MEMORIAL EXPRESSIONS Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital. Cards are available at the funeral home.
