Let Us Pause To Honor the Memory of Mr. Steven Neal Demaree

Mr. Steven Neal Demaree, age 60, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on January 15, 1959 in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late Stacy Neal and Joyce Ann Hughes Demaree. He was raised on Pleasant Ridge and was a 1977 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. He then attended Indiana University. Steve was raised in the Brooksburg United Methodist Church in Brooksburg. On October 6, 1984 he was united in marriage to Judy Sullivan in Huntsville, Alabama. This union was blessed with three daughters, Sarah Elizabeth, Rachael Nicole, and Abigail Kane. Steve had worked early in life for Ralph Storm and Tri-Point Oil Company and drove a bus for White Star Bus Lines. He then began a career in tool and die having worked many years for Clifty Engineering. Steve found enjoyment in farming, fishing, hunting and being with his family. Steve died on Wednesday, December 25, 2019, at his home near Madison, Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY Steve will be missed by his loving daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Demaree Barnes and her husband, Dylan of Madison, Indiana, Rachael Nicole Demaree McLaughlin and her husband, Nick of Memphis, Indiana, Abigail Kane Demaree of Madison, Indiana; the mother of his daughters, Judy Sullivan Demaree of Madison, Indiana; his loving sisters, Marla Ann Demaree Arnold and her husband, George Timothy of Madison, Indiana, Deadra L. Demaree Anderson and her companion, Ken Lazzara of Chicago, Illinois; his adoring grandsons, Colton Luke Barnes, Casen Levi Barnes and Caylor Liam Barnes; his nephews and nieces, Carter Demaree Anderson, Lee Anderson, and Mia Noelle Anderson; several cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Stacy Neal Demaree, died July 2, 2016, his mother, Joyce Ann Hughes Demaree, died September 21, 2012, his grandparents, Stanley and Christine Drennen Demaree and Abram Haldane and Agnes L. Elles Hughes, and his aunt and uncles, Alice D. and Elbert "Sig" Hartman and Robert E. Hughes.

FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 3, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Brooksburg Cemetery in Brooksburg, Indiana.

VISITATION Friends may visit Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
