Mrs. Stella Ann McKinney Bell

Mrs. Stella Ann McKinney Bell, age 80, of Hanover, Indiana entered this life on May 2, 1937 in Carroll County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Cora Frances Purnell McKinney. She was raised in Carroll County and attended school there. She was first united in marriage to Russell Maddex and this union was blessed with two sons, Russell Wayne, Terry Lee and a daughter, Donna Sue. She was later united in marriage on October 21, 1967 in Carroll County to Roy Johnson Bell. This happy union of nearly 46 years was blessed with daughters, Cynthia, Sheila and sons, Ronnie and Roy Dale. She attended the Chelsea Church of God and enjoyed her flowers and yard work. Stella was a homemaker and devoted wife, mom and grandma. Stella died on Monday, June 26, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. at her residence in Hanover, Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY
Stella will be missed by her loving daughters, Cynthia Bell Mann and her husband, Kevin of Lexington, Indiana, Sheila Bell Lock Withers and her husband, Brian of Hanover, Indiana; her loving sons, Roy Dale Bell of Grand Rivers, Kentucky, Ronnie Bell and his wife, Susan of Hanover, Indiana; her loving grandchildren, Kasha, Brittany, Darrell Lee, Jr., Kayla Nicole, Kimberly Sue, Roy Dale, Jr., Cora, Amber Ann, Tricia, Jeremy, Brandy, Bradley; 21-great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse McKinney, her mother, Cora Frances Purnell McKinney, her husband of nearly 46 years, Roy Johnson "Jay" Bell, died June 15, 2013, her son, Terry Lee "Gomer" Maddex, died February 8, 2011, her daughter, Donna Sue Maddex Gaylord, died June 2, 2016, her grandchildren, Russell Wayne "Shane" Maddex, Jr. died, December 25, 2016, Michael Wayne "Hollywood" Maddex died, July 29, 2014, and Crystal Marie Lock, died November 12, 2010, her daughter in law, Debra Bell, her sisters, Mary Juanita Blair died, October 26, 2009 and Frances Ellen "Frankie" Carter, died January 29, 2014.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 30, 2017, at 1:00 p.m., by Pastor Troy Hedges at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens, 9306 North US 421 near Madison, Indiana.

Friends may call Friday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
