Ryan Shepard

Ryan Keith Shepard, born to Robert D. and Phyllis J. Gilbert Shepard on August 30, 1957, in Seymour, Indiana, passed away on September 11, 2026 at his residence. A proud resident of Deputy, Indiana for over 30 years, Ryan was known for his love for fishing, music, and vehicles, and his keen eye for unique items. A 1976 graduate of Seymour High School, he first worked for Silgan Plastics in Seymour before moving to Deputy, where he found employment with Key Manufacturing in Madison, Indiana. Ryan's industrious nature and friendly demeanor helped him build several long-lasting friendships, some of whom he considered as family. His love for Johnny Cash's music and his passion for trading vehicles were well known among his circle.

Ryan was preceded in death by his parents, Robert D. and Phyllis J. Gilbert Shepard; his brother Richard (Lobo) Shepard. He is survived by his siblings Ron (Cindy) Shepard, Gail (Kevin) Imlay and John (Jen) Shepard; his several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, located at 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. This will be followed by a graveside service at the Dixon Chapel - Proctor Cemetery, 386 Dixon Chapel Road, Bedford, Indiana, 47421.
