Let Us Pause To Honor the Memory of Mr. Russell "Shane" Wayne Maddex, Jr. Mr. Russell "Shane" Wayne Maddex, Jr., age 42, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on September 8, 1974 in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of Russell Wayne Maddex, Sr. and Sandra Jo Rose Allen. He was raised in Madison and Hanover, Indiana and in Leander, Texas. He was first united in marriage to Jennifer Keith and this union was blessed with four children. A later marriage was to Debbie Ritch and this union was blessed with two children. He worked in roofing and construction all of his life. Having worked for Total Services Company in Leander and several contracting firms around Madison. He was currently painting a church in Jasper County, Indiana. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed listening to music, hunting, fishing and tinkering on cars. Shane died on Sunday, December 25, 2016, at 7:52 p.m. in a car accident in Remington, Indiana. Click Here for Tribute or Funeral Service Video A LOVING FAMILY Shane will be missed by his father, Russell Wayne Maddex, Sr and his wife, Sherry of Leander, Texas; his mother, Sandra Jo Rose Allen and her husband, Rudy of Hanover, Indiana; his children, Dustin Stone Keith, Judge Kasey Maddex, Jazzmin Rose Maddex, Jessica Killian Maddex, Brittany Ritch-Maddex and Buddy Ritch-Maddex; his grandchildren, Jayden Ritch and Serenity Ritch; his sister, Patricia "Tricia" Maddex of Leander, Texas; his grandparents, Jean Harvey, Stella Bell, Jimmy Rose, Russell Lee Maddex; his great grandmother, Doris Kemp; his nephews and niece, Dalton, Zachary and Kasey Maddex; several uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Wayne "Hollywood" Maddex on July 29, 2014 and his grandparents, Robert and Gertie Maddex. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 30, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow later in the Sharon Hill Cemetery near Lexington, Indiana. VISITATION Friends may call Friday from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
