Roy Wayne Hawkins

Mr. Roy Wayne Hawkins, age 38 of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on January 14, 1984 in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was the loving son of Donna Green and Scottie S. Hawkins, Sr. He attended Madison Consolidated High School and resided all of his life in Madison. He was blessed with three children, Hali, Michael and Kinzy, with his relationship with Kristal Morgan. He worked various jobs, including Grote Industries. Roy Wayne was raised in the Manville Christian Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding atv's and motorcycles. He enjoyed his dogs, Maddie, George, Baby Girl, Diamond, and Zeus. Roy was blessed with one son, Tyler Wayne with his companion Peggy Sue Hemingway. Roy Wayne died from injuries suffered in a head on collision in North Vernon and passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 6:10 p.m. at the Ascension St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon, Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY
Roy Wayne will be missed by his loving mother, Donna Green of Madison, Indiana; his father, Scottie S. Hawkins, Sr. of Madison, Indiana; his significant other, Peggy S. Hemingway of Madison, Indiana; his daughters, Hali Rose Hawkins of Tawas Bay, Michigan, Kinzy Hawkins of Tawas Bay, Michigan; his son, Michael Hawkins of Tawas Bay, Michigan; new born son Tyler Wayne Hawkins; his maternal grandma, Jeanie Green of Madison, Indiana; his maternal grandpa, Donnie Green of Madison, Indiana; his sister, Sara Hawkins of Madison, Indiana; his brothers, Michael "Casey" Green of Madison, Indiana, Scottie Hawkins, Jr. and his wife, Karen of West Union, Ohio; his nephews and his nieces, Brayden Green, Brandshy Hankins, Tien Hawkins, Raistlin Hawkins; his uncles and his aunts, Ronnie and Faith Green of Madison, Indiana, Gary and Dana Green of Milton, Kentucky, Ruth and Bob Douglas of Madison, Indiana; and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandpa, Roy Hawkins.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 6:00 p.m., by Pastor Butch Perry at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
