Robert Glenn House

Mr. Robert Glenn "Bob" House, age 80, of Union, Kentucky entered this life on August 2, 1941 in Shelbyville, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late Herbert and Mabel Anderson House. He was a 1959 graduate of Shelbyville High School and graduated in 1964 from General Motors Institute with a mechanical engineering degree. On July 8, 1962, he was united in marriage to Darla Lynne Bramwell in Shelbyville, Indiana. This happy union of 59 years was blessed with a daughter, Rhonda Lynne, and two sons, Richard Andrew and Ryan Matthew. In 1976, the family settled in Michigan where Bob worked for 35 years at General Motors and retired as a mechanical engineer. After residing in Midland from 1985-2010, Bob and Lynne relocated to Union, Kentucky to be near their families. Bob, a life-long Methodist, loved reading and listening to music. He was a devoted husband, loving dad, and poppy. Bob died on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at 12:04 p.m. at his home in Union, Kentucky with his loving wife at his side.

A LOVING FAMILY Bob will be missed by his loving wife of 59 years, Darla Lynne Bramwell House of Union, Kentucky; his daughter, Rhonda Lynne House of Union, Kentucky; his sons, Richard Andrew House and his wife, Joell of West Chester, Ohio, Ryan Matthew House and his wife, Lindsay of Edgewood, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Daniel Robert and his wife, Allison, Darla Renee and her husband, Beau, Emily Ashton, Benjamin Robert, Owen Joseph, and Colton Michael; his brothers in law and sisters in laws, Jay Bramwell and his wife, Mary Elizabeth of New Castle, Indiana, Pam Jenner of New Richmond, Ohio, Debbie Monroe and her husband, Roger of Shelbyville, Indiana, Mary Alexander of Fairland, Indiana, Cyndi Ross and her husband, Brent of Shelbyville, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert E. House, died October 11, 1980, his mother, Mabel E. Anderson House, died August 7, 1997, his father in law and mother in law, Evan Carter Bramwell, died October 26, 2007 and Mary Ellen "Murnie" Jenkins Bramwell, died September 16, 2004.

FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Hebron Cemetery near Madison, Indiana.

VISITATION Friends may visit Thursday from 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
