Robert Maurice "Bob" Eggers

Mr. Robert Maurice "Bob" Eggers, age 55, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on August 2, 1954, in Greencastle, Indiana, the son of Norman Lewis & Edna J. Wright Eggers, both of whom preceded him in death. He was raised in Fillmore, Indiana and graduated in 1973, from Arthur Campbell High School in Plainfield, Indiana. He attended Ivy Tech taking classes in robotics. He was united in marriage on July 12, 1979 to Janice Faye Thompson. To this union arrived a son and a daughter to bless their home. He first worked for Wilbur Taylor Contracting for several years. He later worked as a self employed painter for ten years. He then worked for twenty five years as a Millwright Local 1003 in Indianapolis. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, camping, his 1965 Mustang was his pride and Joy, his grandchildren and playing poker. He had resided in Madison since 1974. Bob died Sunday, August 9, 2009 at 1:40 pm at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. A LOVING FAMILY Bob will be missed by his loving wife: Janice Faye Thompson Eggers of Madison, Indiana; 1-daughter: Teresa William & her companion: Robert Bethke of Madison, Indiana; 1-son: Joshua Maurice Eggers of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren: Erin Burress, Matthew Burress, Jacob Bruner, Trenten Maurice Eggers, Brooklyn Grace Eggers & Jayce Bethke; 3 sisters: Michelle Griffin, Jackie Hogan of Clayton, Indiana, Vickie Cyrus & her husband: Mark of Brooksburg, Indiana; 1-brother: Norman Lee Eggers & his wife: Beth of Madison, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, one aunt, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents: Norman Lewis & Edna J. Wright Eggers. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 14, 2009 at 1:00 pm, by Pastor Mark Thomas at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Graveside service will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 am at the Grandview Memorial Gardens near Madison, Indiana. VISITATION Friends may call Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm and Friday from 11:00 am until time of the service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. MEMORIAL EXPRESSIONS Memorial contributions may be made to Trenten Maurice Eggers Education Fund. Cards are available at the funeral home.
