Ramona G. "Mona" Witt Lanzoni, age 64, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on September 14, 1957. She was the daughter of William Witt, Jr. and Ruth Johns Sage. She was raised in Madison, Indiana where she attended Pope John XXIII and Southwestern High School. Ramona was first united in marriage to Anthony Wayne Obertate, and this union was blessed with a daughter, Stacy Obertate. Subsequently united in marriage to Timothy Lee Lanzoni, their marriage was blessed with a son, Timothy Axl Lanzoni. Ramona lived her life freely and simply. She enjoyed reading, movies, and spending time with her family. Ramona died on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Water's of Clifty Falls in Madison, Indiana. Stacy Obertate of Kentucky; her grandson, Micah Lanzoni of Madison, Indiana; her sisters, Venita Sweeney of Garner, North Carolina, Veronica Martin and her husband, Gregg, of Roatan, Honduras, Bobbi Sage of Kodak, Tennessee; her nieces and nephews Faisal, Larry, Becky, Chloe and Rachel; her great nephew Oliver and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, William Witt, Jr., her stepfather, Robert William Sage, Jr., her son, Timothy Axl Lanzoni, and her nephew, Taylor Robert Wingham. FUNERAL CEREMONYFuneral services will be conducted on Monday, October 11, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Springdale Cemetery, 600 West Fifth Street in downtown Madison, Indiana.
