Phyllis A. Morrison Payton

Mrs. Phyllis A. Payton, age 79, of Milton, Kentucky, entered this life on August 15, 1944 in Carroll County, Kentucky. She was the loving daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude Huffman Morrison. She was raised in Carroll County and lived there for her entire life until her move to Trimble County in 2010. She worked as a farm hand and housekeeper, raising her children. She enjoyed sewing in her free time. Phyllis died on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 6:55 p.m. at the Signature Health Care of Carrollton in Carrollton, Kentucky.

A LOVING FAMILY Phyllis will be missed by her loving daughter, Pricilla Payton and her fiancee Rick Robbins of Carrollton, Kentucky; her loving son, Henry Payton and his wife, Jamie of Bedford, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Hannah and Bryson; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Morrison, her mother, Gertrude Huffman Morrison, her brothers, Charles Morrison, Wesley Morrison, Jesse Morrison, and her sister, Stella Grace Sullivan.

PHYLLIS'S WISHESPhyllis chose cremation with a public memorial graveside ceremony on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Milton, Kentucky.
