Phillip Michael Bryant

Mr. Phillip "Mike" Bryant age 61, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on September 10, 1948, in Bartholomew County, Indiana. He was the son of Marion Bryant and Dorothy Spurling Barrington. He was raised in Bartholomew County and was a 1968 graduate of Columbus High School. He was united in marriage in 1971 to Sharon England and to this union arrived two sons and two daughters to bless their home. He had resided in Madison the past 34 years and was employed for 17 years with King's Daughters' Hospital in the housekeeping department. He was united in marriage on February 13, 1988 at the First Assembly of God Church in Madison to Sherry L. Cave. He enjoyed collecting figurines, being a bargain shopper, riding his bike and being with his family. He enjoyed his faithful companions, Buddy & Itsy. He was anxiously awaiting the birth of his ninth grandchild. Mike died Thursday,August 26, 2010 at 3:10 a.m. at his home in Madison, Indiana. Cave Bryant of Madison, Indiana; his mother: Dorothy Spurling Barrington of Madison, Indiana; his son: Christopher Bryant of Milton, Kentucky; his daughters: Robin Bryant of Plymouth, New Hampshire and Kami Pettit & her husband: Rodney of Madison, Indiana; his step sons: Jeremy Lynch & his wife: Monica of Elizabethtown, Kentucky and Joseph Lynch of Scottsdale, Arizona; his step daughter: Julia Lynch of Bloomington, Indiana; his brothers: Terry Lee Bryant & his wife: Seang of Hanover, Indiana and David Andrew Bryant of Columbus, Indiana; his sister: Rebecca Pace of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren: Robert, Kay, Collin, Kaylee, Kyle, Aiden, Blake & Allison; his father in law & mother in law: Norman & Kledith Cave of Falls of Rough, Kentucky; his sister in law & brother in law: Carol Bader & her husband: John of Fredericksburg, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins & other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father: Marion Bryant died in 1987; his son: David Michael Bryant died in August 1971; his sister Phyllis Ann Huddleston died in 1992; his step daughter: Jennifer Lynch died July 25, 1994. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 29, 2010 at 3:00 p.m., by Pastor Bill Maginn, at the First Assembly of God Church, 1636 Clifty Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery in Madison, Indiana. VISITATION Friends may call Saturday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until time of the service at the First Assembly of God Church at 1636 Clifty Drive in Madison, Indiana. MEMORIAL EXPRESSIONS Memorial contributions may be made to Hungry Hearts Ministry of First Assembly of God Church. Cards are available at the funeral home.
