Paul S. Bratton

Mr. Paul S. Bratton, age 86 of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on September 28, 1939 in Johnsonville, Illinois to parents Stanley and Fern Ellis Bratton. He was raised in Cisne, Illinois and graduated from Cisne High School. He went on to obtain a Bachelor's Degree from Southern Illinois University. Paul served three years in the National Guard and was honorably discharged. He married Carole Peddicord on June 8, 1962 at Cisne Methodist Church in Cisne, Illinois. He worked as a feed salesman for many years in Illinois, Nebraska, Missouri, Kentucky, and Indiana. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Paul died on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 7:10 p.m. at the Thornton Terrace Health Campus in Hanover, Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY Paul will be missed by his wife of 63 years, Carole Peddicord Bratton of Madison, Indiana; his daughter, Angela Bratton, M.D. and her husband, Glen Peterson of Los Alamos, New Mexico; his sister, Carolyn Ash of Waunakee, Wisconsin; and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Bratton, his mother, Fern Ellis Bratton, and his brothers, Ellis Bratton and Gerald Bratton.

PAUL'S WISHESPer Paul's wishes, he chose cremation with no funeral service.
