Nickey Darrell Turner Obituary (1955

Mr. Nickey "Nick" Darrell Turner, age 68, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on June 12, 1955 in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late Elbert Richard Turner and Arvenia Bladen Whiteford. He was a 1974 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. He married Cindy Loveall and this marriage was blessed with one son, Nicholas Cody. He later married Trish Hereford and she preceded him in death. He lived in Madison for most of his life and retired from General Dynamics after 10 years of service. He loved music and played guitar for several local bands. He also enjoyed fishing and watching hydroplane boat racing, especially the Madison Regatta. Nickey died on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at his home in Madison, Indiana. A LOVING FAMILY Nickey will be missed by his son, Nicholas Cody Turner of Madison, Indiana; his brother, Robert D. "Whitey" Whiteford of Madison, Indiana; his sister, Angela "Angie" Lee Whiteford Lobb and her husband, Phillip of Madison, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Richard Turner, died July 26, 1985, his mother, Arvenia Bladen Whiteford, died July 9, 1988, his wife, Patricia "Trish" G. Hereford, died October 8, 2010, and his brother, Garry Richard Turner, died October 16, 2015. NICK'S WISHESNick chose cremation with no formal services to be held.
