Nellie Emma Clemmons Butters

Mrs. Nellie Emma Clemmons Butters, age 88, of Hanover, Indiana, entered this life on August 15, 1922 in Hanover, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late, Nelson & Maude Evans Clemmons. She lived most of her life in Hanover but was a graduate of the Soldiers and Sailors Home in Indianapolis. She was a member of the Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church in Lexington, Indiana. She retired in 1989 from Reliance Electric Company where she worked as a sub assembler for 27 1/2 years. She enjoyed cross word puzzles, working in her yard and gardening. Nellie died Sunday, January 16, 2011 at 8:45 p.m. at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY
Nellie will be missed by her loving sons: Terry Butters and Bill Butters both of Hanover, Indiana; her loving daughter: Linda Moore of Sellersburg, Indiana; her grandchildren: David Matthew Schafer, Charles Lynn Schafer, William Scott Butters, & Christina Butters; her great grandchildren: Jeremy, Jordan, Justin, Cierra & Ethan; her sister: Clara Jewell of Richmond, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, & other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson & Maude Evans Clemmons; her sister, Bernice Ray; her brother, James Clemmons.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 8:00 p.m., by Pastor Jason Chat at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.

VISITATION
Friends may call Thursday from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
