Marjorie "Marge" Keithley

Let Us Pause To Honor the Memory of Mrs. Marjorie Lou "Marge" (Hannan) Keithley Mrs. Marjorie Lou "Marge" (Hannan) Keithley, age 79, of Deputy, Indiana entered this life on June 27, 1935 in New Albany, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late, Walter and Sadie Rundels Hannan. She was raised in New Albany and Jeffersonville and was a 1953 graduate of Silver Creek High School in Sellersburg. She then graduated from Spencerian College with a secretarial degree. On October 6, 1962 she was united in marriage to H.C. Keithley, Sr. in Jeffersonville, Indiana. This happy union of fifty two years was blessed to raise Butch, Marcie and Lorraine. Marge had worked as a secretary for Hooker Chemical Company in Clarksville, Indiana. The family moved to Jefferson County in 1987. Marge had held membership in the Homemaker's Association of Floyd County and Centenary United Methodist Church in New Albany. She had served as a Girl Scout Leader for Troop 747 at Slate Run Elementary School in New Albany. Marge had served as a member and treasurer for McCulloch Volunteer Fire Department in Clarksville, Indiana and was a longtime member and treasurer for Pisgah United Methodist Church in Deputy, Indiana. Marge enjoyed sewing and gardening. She was a devoted wife, loving mom and grandma. Marge died on Friday, March 27, 2015, at 10:11 a.m. at her home in Deputy, Indiana. Keithley, Sr. of Deputy, Indiana; her loving daughter, Lorraine Keithley Henry and her husband, Steve of Deputy, Indiana; her loving step son, H. C. "Butch" Keithley, Jr. and his wife, Linda of Cincinnati, Ohio; her loving step daughter, Marcie J. Keithley of New Albany, Indiana; her loving grandchildren, Andrew Henry and Jessica Henry Freeman and her husband, Matt; her loving step grandchildren, Mary Beth Shafer, Michele Hodges, Jeffrey T. Keithley, Charlie Henry, Dee Henry, Amanda Fisher, Matt Fisher, Mel Ostrowski; her loving great grandchildren, Otis Freeman and Caroline Freeman; 22-step great grandchildren; her close friends, David and Luanne Coomer of Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Sadie Rundels Hannan; and her step daughter, Judith A. Keithley. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at 1:00 p.m., Pastor Chad Chamness at the Pisgah United Methodist Church on Deputy Pike near Deputy, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Pisgah Cemetery on Deputy Pike near Deputy, Indiana VISITATION Friends may call Monday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana and Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at the Pisgah United Methodist Church on Deputy Pike near Deputy, Indiana.
