Let Us Pause To Honor the Memory of Mrs. Marcia S. Turner McCormick Mrs. Marcia S. Turner McCormick, age 58, of Deputy, Indiana entered this life on August 8, 1956 in Kokomo, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late, Lawrence Russell and Violet Mae Randall Turner. She was raised in Kokomo and a 1974 graduate of Kokomo High School. She had resided in Jefferson County since 1979 and was united in marriage on June 11, 1994 to Harold L. McCormick in Carrollton, Kentucky. She had worked as a mod operator at Meese Orbitron Dunne for several years and as a housekeeper for Motel 6. Marcia enjoyed fishing, nature and camping. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Kokomo. Marcia held membership in Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion Auxiliary and Madison VFW Post 1969 Auxiliary. Marcia died on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at her home near Deputy, Indiana. Click Here for Funeral Service or Tribute Video A LOVING FAMILY Marcia will be missed by her loving brothers, Danny Turner and his wife, Orline of Hanover, Indiana, Wesley Turner and his wife, Janet of Kokomo, Indiana; her loving sisters, Fairy Graham of Avon Park, Florida, Betty Wagner of Kokomo, Indiana, Theresa Freeman and her husband, Charlie of Madison, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence Russell and Violet Mae Randall Turner, her loving husband of sixteen years, Harold L. McCormick, died February 27, 2010, her brothers, Theo, Paul, Lawrence and Larry Turner, her sisters, Rose Morris, Ann Clark, and Jane Monroe. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 7, 2015, at 10:30 a.m., by Rev. Dennis Ferguson at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Springdale Cemetery in downtown Madison, Indiana VISITATION Friends may call Thursday from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
