Mable L. Clubb Patterson

Mrs. Mable L. Clubb Patterson, age 77, of Hanover, Indiana, formerly of Madison, entered this life on July 11, 1932 in Henry County, Kentucky. She was the loving daughter of the late Newton & Rhelda Raisor Clubb. She resided most of her life in Madison and was united in marriage in January 1952 to Harley George Patterson. To this happy union arrived one son & four daughters to bless their home. She had served as the Jefferson County Sheriff's Matron under Sheriff Beck Alexander. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed caring for and raising her children. She enjoyed collecting Barbie Dolls, porcelein dolls, angels, loved flower gardening, and being with her grandchildren. She attended the Brooksburg Baptist Church and was a member of Jefferson Post 9, of the American Legion Auxiliary. Mabel died Friday, June 11, 2010 at 1:25 a.m. at the Thornton Terrace Health Campus in Hanover, Indiana. A LOVING FAMILY Mabel will be missed by her loving son: Marvin R. Bruce & her husband: Doug of Milton, Kentucky, Carolyn F. Jessup of Hanover, Indiana, Cheryl L. Bruther & her husband: Doug of Hanover, Indiana; her loving brothers: Elmo Clubb of Madison, Indiana, Clarence Clubb of Madison, Indiana; her loving sisters: Carolyn Otter of Madison, Indiana, Shirley "Teeny" Lock of Madison, Indiana, Virginia Boone of Madison, Indiana; her grandchildren: Caitlin Patterson, John Turner, Christy Turner, Jennifer Heilman, Dustin Christman, Casey Jessup, Chelsea Patterson; her great grandchildren: MaKayla Turner, Dalton Allen Cyrus & Caden Heilman; her step daughter: Patricia Fisher of Brooksburg, Indiana; 5- step grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents: Newton & Rhelda Raisor Clubb; her husband: Harley George Patterson died: Sept. 13, 1984; her brothers: Charlie, Gayle, & Barton Clubb; her sisters: Wanda Law, Edith Reed, Hazel Thevenow & Marie Hay; her son in law: David Jessup; her step daughter: Audrey Porter. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., by the Reverend James Sparks at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Brooksburg Cemetery in Brooksburg, Indiana. VISITATION Friends may call Monday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
