Linda S. Cochrum Pilcher

Mrs. Linda S. Cochrum Pilcher, 74, of Hanover, Indiana, was born on August 1, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Harold Prather Cochrum and Emma Ruth Brockwell Cochrum. Linda grew up in Detroit and graduated from Finney High School in 1969, beginning a life defined by dedication, kindness, and a deep love for family. Linda began her career with Rotary Lift at the Memphis, Tennessee plant, where she enjoyed the city's connection to Elvis Presley, one of her lifelong favorites. In 1986, Rotary Lift transferred her to Madison, Indiana, where she made her home for nearly four decades. Over the years, she worked not only for Rotary Lift but also at Belterra and later as a cashier at Walmart, positions through which she made many lasting friendships. Known for her devotion to her loved ones, Linda found joy in life's quiet moments--reading her favorite books at Clifty Falls State Park, working puzzles, and sharing conversations with family. Linda died on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 3:50 p.m. at the Thornton Terrace Health Campus in Hanover, Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY Linda will be missed by her loving daughter: Penny Zuckshwerdt (Jason) of Madison, Indiana; her loving son: Wade Pilcher (Michelle) of San Antonio, Texas; her grandchildren: Allison, Drew and Isabella; her sister: Carol Emery (Dennis) of Michigan; her nieces: April Emery, Tina McMillan (Bryan) and Machelle Operia (Robert). She was preceded in death by her father Harold Prather Cochrum; her mother Emma Ruth Brockwell Cochrum; her sister, Diane Cochrum.

LINDA'S WISHESCremation was chosen, with no formal services to be held.
