Leonard Elrenn Morgan, Jr. Obituary (1932

Mr. Leonard Elrenn Morgan, Jr., age 93, of Milton, Kentucky entered this life April 8, 1932 in Trimble County, Kentucky. He was the loving son of the late Leonard Paul and Iva A. Leach Morgan. He married Rose Ann McDaniel on February 2, 1959 at the First Christian Church. He was raised in the Milton area, lived in Madison from 1959 to 1991, before returning to Milton. He was inducted into the United States Army of February 8, 1953 and rose to the rate of corporal during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged on December 9, 1954. Leonard was employed in production and manufacturing with the U.S. Shoe Corporation, retiring after 33 years of service. He was a member of the Milton United Methodist Church in Milton, Kentucky. Leonard enjoyed fishing and being outdoors and held membership in Major Samuel Woodfill Post No. 9 of the American Legion. Leonard died on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 4:01 p.m. at his residence in Milton, Kentucky. Please Click Here to View the Video Tribute Please Click Here to View the Funeral Service Recording A LOVING FAMILY Leonard will be missed by his loving wife of 66 years, Rose Ann Morgan of Milton, Kentucky; his daughter, Sherry Brown of Milton, Kentucky; his sons, Dennis Morgan of Milton, Kentucky, Brian Morgan of Milton, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; his sisters, Loise Arden Hunt of Carrollton, Kentucky, Lena Jeanette Montgomery of Carrollton, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Paul Morgan, his mother, Iva A. Leach-Morgan, his sons, Steven Leroy Morgan and Larry Wright, his son-in-law, Ed Brown, his daughter-in-law, Ramona Morgan, daughter-in-law, Pam Morgan, his brother, Harlan Dale Morgan. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., by Dave Adams at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Moffett Cemetery in Milton, Kentucky. VISITATION Friends may visit Friday, January 2, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
