Leland Matlock "Wee Man" Briner Obituary (2015

Leland Matlock Briner, age 8, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on June 26, 2015 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was the son of Danny Matlock and Naomi Sue Briner. He resided all of his life in Jefferson County and was raised on Rykers Ridge. He currently was a third grader at Rykers Ridge Elementary School. He attended North Madison Christian Church in Madison and loved playing games, Legos, Minecraft, Fortnight, and other computer games. He was a very rambunctious and imaginative child and was "all boy". He loved his sisters and enjoyed all their fun times together. Leland died on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 5:03 pm at his home in Madison, Indiana. Please Click Here to View the Video Tribute Please Click Here to View the Funeral Service Recording A LOVING FAMILY Leland will be missed by his father and step mother, Danny Matlock and his wife, Jenna of Madison, Indiana; his sister, Makenna Matlock of Charlestown, Indiana; his paternal grandmother, Deborah Adkins of Jeffersonville, Indiana, his paternal grandfather and step grandmother, Danny Matlock and his wife, LaTonya of New Albany, Indiana; his maternal grandfather and step mother, Jerry Briner and his wife, Carol of Madison, Indiana; his maternal grandmother, Kimberly Sue Smith Briner of Madison, Indiana; his step grandparents, Cliff and Tammy Carnes of Madison, Indiana, Ken and Barb McMahon of Columbus, Ohio; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his mother, Naomi Sue Briner, died December 12, 2023, his sisters, Adelia Faye Briner, died December 12, 2023 and Iyla Danielle Briner, died December 12, 2023. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., by Bro. Donnie Roark at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. VISITATION Friends may visit Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
