Larry Wayne Imel

Mr. Larry Wayne Imel, age 67, of in Madison, Indiana entered this life on July 22, 1944 in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of Theodore "Ted" & Mary Agnes Harmon Imel. He resided his entire life in Madison. He was employed for many years in the laundry department at the Madison State Hospital. He was a member of the Madison Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, especially bow hunting and was an avid deer hunter. He also enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and nature. He read science fiction novels and enjoyed playing the guitar. Larry was found dead on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at his home in Madison, Indiana. A LOVING FAMILY Larry will be missed by his half brother: Gregory L. Cummins of Hope Mills, North Carolina; several aunts, uncles & cousins in the Jefferson County Area. He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore "Ted" Imel; his mother, Mary Agnes Harmon Imel Cummins; his sister, Sue Harmon. VISITATION Friends may call Tuesday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. MEMORIAL EXPRESSIONS Memorial contributions may be made to the Big Oak Conservation Society. Cards are available at the funeral home.
