"Kenny" Kenneth Wayne Barnes Obituary (1957

HANOVER CHAPELMr. Kenneth Wayne "Kenny" Barnes, age 64, of Paris Crossing, Indiana entered this life on August 19, 1957 in Gary, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late William Lamar and Beatrice Koivu Barnes. He spent his early life in Gary and was raised in the Baptist faith. He resided in the Jefferson County area since 1971 and attended Madison Consolidated High School. On September 7, 1975, he was united in marriage to Nancy Schwing in Madison, Indiana. This union of 25 years was blessed with a son, Eric. Over the years, he worked for Force CNC, Gale Die Mold and Arvin Sango. Kenny enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising a garden, boating on the lake and woodworking. Kenny died on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at 10:30 p.m. at King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana. Please Click Here to View the Video Tribute Please Click Here to View the Funeral Service Recording A LOVING FAMILY Kenny will be missed by his loving son, Eric Barnes and his fiancee, Melissa Archer of Deputy, Indiana; his step grandchildren, Allyson Trader and Andrew Stephens; his sister, Karen Shuler and her husband, Doug of Brooksburg, Indiana; his brothers, Kurt Barnes and his wife, Pam of Madison, Indiana, Jerry Barnes and his wife, Pat of Madison, Indiana; his life-long friend who was like his brother, Bill Lare of Madison, Indiana; his former wife and mother of his son, Nancy Schwing Barnes of Madison, Indiana; his aunts, Wauneta Deveary and Mary Parker; his nieces, Heather Brooks (Derek), Holly Shuler, Alex Barnes,(Drew Hollering); and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, William Lamar Barnes and his mother, Beatrice Koivu Barnes. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., by Pastor John Hart at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre - Hanover Chapel, 278 East Main Street in Hanover, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens, 9306 N. U.S. 421 near Madison, Indiana. VISITATION Friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre - Hanover Chapel, 278 East Main Street in Hanover, Indiana.
