"Katie" Kathrin Ann Covington Linville Obituary (1964

Mrs. Kathrin A. "Katie" Linville, age 58 of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on March 18, 1964 in Madison, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of Sharon Leatherbury Deboard and the late Salin Covington. She resided all of her life in Jefferson County and was a 1982 graduate of Southwestern High School. She was united in marriage to Russell Neal Linville in Bedford, Kentucky and they enjoyed 38 years of marriage together. She worked early in life at the Hanover Nursing Center, Fashion Cleaners and the mobile MRI Imaging Trailer as a secretary. For the past nine years, she had been employed with Hanover College Campus Security. Katie loved Christmas and had many trees and decorations that she used every year. She often could be found working in her flowers, doing landscaping and going antique hunting. She loved Lexus cars and had owned four during her life-time. She was a devoted wife, loving step mom, "Grandma Katie", sister and friend. Katie died on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 2:04 p.m. at the Norton King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana. Please Click Here to View the Video Tribute Please Click Here to View the Funeral Service Recording A LOVING FAMILY Katie will be missed by her loving husband of 38 years, Russell Neal Linville of Madison, Indiana; her step daughter, Sara Faith Caldwell and her husband, Dan of Milton, Kentucky; her mother, Sharon Leatherbury Deboard of Hanover, Indiana; her step grandchildren, Courtney Blackburn, Paige Blackburn and Ryan Neal Linville; her step great grandson, William Paul Colwell; her sister, Susan Lynch of Indianapolis, Indiana; her brother, Phillip Deboard of Hanover, Indiana; her brothers in law, Mike Stafford and Dennis Banks and his wife, Pam all of Madison, Indiana and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her step sons, Benjamin Dale Linville, died May 5, 2020 and Clinton Neal Linville, died May 23, 2022, and her father, Salin Covington died March 21, 1973. Funeral Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana, with interment to follow at the Ryker's Ridge New Cemetery in Madison, Indiana.
