Jefferson D. "Jeff" Rucker, Jr. Obituary (1938

Mr. Jefferson Davis "Jeff" Rucker, Jr., age 85, of Hanover, Indiana entered this life on January 20, 1938 in Ogdensburg, New York. He was the son of the late Jefferson Davis, Sr. and Christina Muir Rucker. His early life was spent in Northern New York and later the family moved to Newark Ohio and then to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and he graduated high school at Mt. Lebanon High School in 1956. He then received his bachelors from Purdue University. He later settled in Middletown Kentucky and had worked for Black & Decker in Shelbyville as a maintenance supervisor. He enjoyed rebuilding cards, racing cars, being a member of the TR 4 Racing Club and he loved his dog, Beau. Jeff died on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at 9:30 p.m. at the Norton King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana. A LOVING FAMILY Jeff will be missed by his loving sister, Susan Stephens of Madison, Indiana; his nieces and his nephew, Christina Klein Ellis, John Klein, and Colleen Taylor. He was preceded in death by his father, Jefferson Davis Rucker, Sr., and his mother, Christina Muir Rucker. JEFF'S WISHESJeff's wishes were to be cremated.
