Jeanie Carolyn Day Green

Mrs. Jeanie Carolyn Day Green, age 81 of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on October 1, 1944 in Madison, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late Armond P. and Naomi Mary Monroe Day. She lived all of her life in Jefferson County and earned her GED. She was united in marriage to Donnie Green and was blessed with a daughter, Donna, and two sons, Ronnie and Gary. She worked hard to raise her children, working for a cleaning company cleaning offices and banks. She also received her CDL and worked as a truck driver for several years. She was a faithful member of the Manville Christian Church, where she was the church pianist for many years. A caring friend to all animals, she loved her cats, riding horses, riding motorcycles, playing the piano and serving in church. Jeanie died on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at her residence in Madison, Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY Jeanie will be missed by her loving daughter, Donna Green of Madison, Indiana; her loving sons, Ronnie Green and his wife, Faith of Madison, Indiana, and Gary Green and his wife Dana of Milton, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Roy, Sara, Casey, Courtney, Lauren, Trent, and Lee; her great-grandchildren, Halie, Mike, Kinzy, Brayden, Tyler, Peighton, Tayler, Charlea, and Langston; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Armond P. Day, died September 5, 1969, her mother, Naomi Mary Monroe Day, died June 9, 1981, her brothers, Ronald "Pee Wee" Day, died August 17, 2015 and Tommy Day, died March 3, 2022.

FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., by Bro. Darin Ayler at the Manville Christian Church, 5491 East Wolf Run Road in Manville, Indiana. Interment will follow on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Ryker's Ridge New Cemetery near Madison, Indiana

VISITATION Friends may visit Monday, January 5, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Manville Christian Church, 5491 East Wolf Run Road in Manville, Indiana.
