James "Jh" Harold Lee, Sr. Obituary (1950

Mr. James "JH" Harold Lee, Sr., age 75 of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on July 10, 1950 in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late John William, Sr. and Margaret Mae English Lee. He was raised and schooled in Terre Haute. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth "Cookie" Cox for 12 years and this union was blessed to raise five children, James H. Jr., Michaelynn "Miki" Adraniese, Steven R., Melissa, and Maurice. He learned the electrical trade and became a lineman. He had been a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers since 1984 and retired from Lineco as a lineman. He resided in Norwalk, California from 1984-2007 and had lived in Madison the past 18 years. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed socializing and loved cars. James died on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at 9:15 p.m. at the Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Lee, Jr. and his wife, Lindsy of Madison, Indiana and Maurice Lee of Colorado; his daughter, Melissa Lee Miller of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Raven, Jaylin, Jayme, Jayda, and Nigel Wells; several brothers and sisters; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father John William Lee, Sr., died January 5, 2002; his mother Margaret Mae English Lee, died February 24, 1992; his second wife Guadalupe Plazoba Lee, died December 27, 2002; his daughter, Michaelynn "Miki" Adraniese Lee, died July 4, 1992; his son, Steven R. Lee, died February 10, 2017; his brothers David and Oliver; and his sisters Patricia and Delores. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. by Pastor Jeffrey Pflug at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Springdale Cemetery, 600 West Fifth Street in downtown Madison, Indiana. VISITATION Friends may visit Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
