Harold "Curt" Curtis Rowlett, Sr. Obituary (1951

Let Us Pause To Honor the Memory of Mr. Harold Curtis "Curt" Rowlett, Sr. Mr. Harold Curtis "Curt" Rowlett, Sr., age 66, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on November 17, 1951 in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late Hurley and Kathryn Kreeger Rowlett. He was a lifelong resident of Jefferson County and attended Madison Consolidated High School receiving his GED. He became a father early in life with the birth of his son, Joshua. He was later united in marriage to Terri Flint on December 2, 1975, and this union was blessed with Harold Curtis, Jr., Chad and Chrissy. He worked as a house framer for 15 years with Short's Construction. On October 13, 2000 he was united in marriage to Robin Tindall and they were blessed with eight years of marriage. He was an avid IU fan while Coach Bobby Knight was in charge and later an avid fan of the Butler Bulldogs. Curt was a member of the Major Samuel Woodfill Post #9 of the American Legion, ABATE, and the Jefferson County Goodwill Conservation Club. He held membership in the Hanover Baptist Church. Curt died on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at 12:50 p.m. at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky with his loving family at his side. Click Here for Tribute VideoA LOVING FAMILY Curt will be missed by his loving sons, Joshua Rowlett, Sr. and his wife, Daffney of Madison, Indiana, Harold Curtis Rowlett, Jr. of Madison, Indiana, Chad Rowlett of Vacaville, California; his loving daughter, Chrissy Stewart and her husband, Chuck of Hanover, Indiana; his grandchildren, Tyler Keith Rowlett, Lexi Stewart, Gary Rowlett, Blaine Stewart, Josua Rowlett, Jr., Ryan Rowlett, Ethan Stewart, Aiden Rowlett, Brianna Rowlett and Nico Rowlett; his brother, James Rowlett and his wife, Mary of Madison, Indiana; his sisters, Zona Short of Bloomington, Indiana, Phyliss Young of Alabama, Carol Hooley of Alabama; his best friend and ex-wife, Robin Tindall of Madison, Indiana; his companion of several years, Denise Snyder of Madison, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Hurley Rowlett, his mother, Kathryn Kreeger Rowlett, and his sister, Mary Jo. Hall. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 10, 2018, at 10:30 a.m., by Pastor J.D. Traylor at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Moffett Cemetery in Milton, Kentucky.
