Fritzi Lee Bruther Jackson Obituary (1952

Mrs. Fritzi Lee Bruther Jackson, age 72 of Milton, Kentucky, entered this life on October 9, 1952 in Madison, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late George "Fritz" Lee and Nancy Lee Coons Bruther. Raised in Jefferson County Indiana, Fritzi was a 1970 graduate of Southwestern High School in Hanover, Indiana. She then attended the Kentucky Christian University for two years. On May 30, 1973, she was united in marriage to Denny Carroll Jackson at the North Madison Christian Church in Madison, Indiana. This happy union of 52 years was blessed with two sons, Byron and Ryan, and a daughter, Jenna. She was a devoted wife, loving mom, grandma, sister and friend. She enjoyed private babysitting while raising her family. She also worked at Conn Organ and Jay's Market before retiring from Milton Elementary School after 17 years of service as a teacher's aide. She enjoyed being a host for exchange students. She resided the past 30 years in Trimble County and loved the many animals she had around her home. She also enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and being an avid Louisville Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds baseball and Baltimore Ravens football fan. She was an extremely active member of the North Madison Christian Church and enjoyed her fellowship with the Lunch Bunch. She fought a courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis for the past several years. Fritzi died on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 11:49 a.m. at her home in Milton, Kentucky surrounded by her family. \ Please Click Here to View the Video Tribute Please Click Here to View the Funeral Service Recording A LOVING FAMILY Fritzi will be missed by her loving husband of 52 years, Denny Carroll Jackson of Milton, Kentucky; her sons, Byron Jackson and his wife, Jessica of Madison, Indiana, and Ryan Jackson of Milton, Kentucky; her daughter, Jenna Jackson of Madison, Indiana; her grandchildren, Mikon Robertson (Justin), Milan Jackson, Owen Jackson, Zachery Wolf, and Tyler Wolf; her great-grandchildren, Maylee Lewis and Emery Robertson; her brothers-in-law, Ray Wilson of Lexington, Indiana, Shane Jackson & his wife, Billie of Vevay, Indiana; her sisters-in-law, Pauline Bruther of Hanover, Indiana, Yvonne Bruther of Madison, Indiana, Libby Jackson Kinman and her husband, John of Vevay, Indiana, Vedie Tingle and her husband, Jeff of Springfield, Kentucky; her exchange students, Selina Boettcher, Toni Rein, Ji Sun Park, and Nadine Marfurt; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father George "Fritz" Lee Bruther, died January 30, 1989, her mother Nancy Lee Coons Bruther, died March 20, 1990, her brothers Bro. Ron L. Bruther, died December 8, 2018 and Kenneth E. Bruther, died July 19, 2023, her sister Karen K. Bruther Wilson, died July 15, 2024, her father-in-law William Aubrey Jackson, died December 28, 2010, her mother-in-law Julia L. Stockdale Jackson, died May 11, 2012, and her nephew, Will Jackson, died May 15, 2021. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., by Bro. Bob Hicks, Bro. Brye Welty and Pastor Keith Abrams at the North Madison Christian Church, 1400 East State Road 62 in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Bedford Cemetery in Bedford, Kentucky VISITATION Friends may visit Sunday from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana and Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the North Madison Christian Church, 1400 East State Road 62 in Madison, Indiana.
