Let Us Pause To Honor the Memory of Mr. James Edgar "Ed" Goodin Mr. James Edgar "Ed" Goodin, age 54, of Lexington, Indiana entered this life on June 21, 1965 in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late Johnnie and Jeanette June Zearing Goodin. Ed was raised in Hanover and Lexington and was a 1983 graduate of Southwestern High School where he was on the wrestling team. On October 18, 2014 Ed was united in marriage to Mary L. Hartwell in Scottsburg, Indiana. He had worked for 19 years at Hilex in North Vernon as a machine operator. For the past three years he worked in assembly at Rotary Lift in Madison. Ed loved to go fishing, hunting, and be with his family. He was a devoted husband, loving dad and papaw. Ed died on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at 9:25 a.m. at his home near Lexington, Indiana. Goodin and his wife, Kelsey of Lexington, Indiana; Amanda Walker and her husband, Chris of Crothersville, Indiana, Tyann Emily and her husband, Mark of Crothersville, Indiana; Aaron Wood and his wife, Andrea of Seymour, Indiana; his loving grandchildren, Taylor, Paige, Isaac, Abigail, Kelsey, Eric, Mason, Jocobi, Jordy, Avery, Reagan, Brier, and Layne; his brothers, John Oscar Goodin of Madison, Indiana, Mark Anthony Goodin of Madison, Indiana; his brothers in law and sisters in law, Terry Hartwell and his wife, Laura of Panama, Florida, David Hartwell and his wife, Judy of North Vernon, Indiana, Dean Hartwell and his wife, Jamie of North Vernon, Indiana, Tom Hartwell of North Vernon, Indiana, Keith Hartwell of North Vernon, Indiana, Cecilia Abbott and her husband, Bill of Chelsea, Indiana; his uncle and aunt, Jim and Lou Frazier of Madison, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Goodin, died October 30, 2015, his mother, Jeanette June Zearing Goodin, died July 5, 2002, and his mother in law, Roberta M. Viles Hartwell. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at 7:00 p.m., at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana. VISITATION Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana.
