Mr. Dallas Wayne "Bub" Cyrus, age 57 of Seymour, Indiana, entered this life on December 15, 1967 in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late Ivan Eugene and Rodia Lee Hurt Cyrus. He was raised in Madison and attended school there. He worked at Meese Inc. until becoming disabled. He was of the Christian faith. Dallas enjoyed playing cards - especially poker, rolling dice, watching scary movies and playing pool. He resided the past four years in Seymour. Please Click Here to View the Funeral Service Recording A LOVING FAMILY Dallas will be missed by his loving companion of 17 years, Reverna Day of Seymour, Indiana; his daughters, Adrian Young of Campbellsburg, Kentucky, Becca Theiring of Madison, Indiana; his sons, Cory Stewart of Madison, Indiana, Zach Tyre of Madison, Indiana; his sisters, Phyllis Steele and her husband, Charles of Commiskey, Indiana, Janet Phillips of Deputy, Indiana, Beatrice Jenkins of Crothersville, Indiana, Betty Barcume of North Vernon, Indiana, Brenda Squires and her husband, Andrew of East Corinth, Maine, Cindy Barnes and her husband, Albert of Madison, Indiana; his brother, Orville Cyrus of San Jacinto, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Ivan Eugene Cyrus, died April 7, 1967, his mother, Rodia Lee Hurt Cyrus, died November 22, 1992, his sisters, Anita J. Cyrus Austin, died September 12, 2012 and Barbara Cyrus Wilfong, died December 26, 2020. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., by Pastor Caleb Brewster at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Springdale Cemetery, 600 West Fifth Street in downtown Madison, Indiana. VISITATION Friends may visit Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
