Mr. Chez Matthew "Matt" Monroe, age 22, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on July 28, 1987 in Okaloosa County, Florida, the son of Anthony Wayne Monroe & Marilyn Diane Mack. He was a resident of the Hanover & Madison area most of his life and was a 2006, graduate of Southwestern High School. He was united in marriage to Bethany Chantel Barnes on June 10, 2007 and to this union came a daughter to bless their home. He was employed at Madison Precision Products & American Steel Works in Scottsburg, Indiana. He enjoyed fishing, collecting model cars & spending time with his daughter. Chez died Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 8:45 a.m. at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. A LOVING FAMILY Matt will be missed by his wife: Bethany Chantel Barnes Monroe of Madison, Indiana; his daughter: Gabrielle Elizabeth Monroe of Madison, Indiana; his mother & step father: Marilyn Diane Mack Adams & her husband: Donald W. of Madison, Indiana; his sisters: Michelle Hobbs & her husband: Christopher of Hanover, Indiana, Jessica Monroe of Madison, Indiana; his paternal grandfather: John Monroe of Madison, Indiana; his father Anthony Wayne Monroe of Madison, Indiana; his maternal grandparents: Neal & Marilyn Mack of Deputy, Indiana; his paternal grandparents: Pauline & Kenny Bruther of Hanover, Indiana; his nephew: Corgan Hobbs of Hanover, Indiana; hid mother in law & father in law: Tina & Charles DeBurger of Madison, Indiana; his father in law: Kevin Barnes of Madison, Indiana; several uncles, aunts, great uncles, great aunts, cousins & other relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandmother in law: Sharon Counts; his paternal great-grandparents: Lillian Monroe Flowers & Fred Monroe. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 20, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., by the Reverend Troy Hedges at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Dupont Cemetery in Dupont, Indiana. VISITATION Friends may call Thursday from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana MEMORIAL EXPRESSIONS Memorial contributions may be made to the Matt Monroe Memorial Fund.
