Charles Thomas Chastain

Mr. Charles Thomas Chastain, age 64 of Indianapolis, Indiana, entered this life on December 8, 1961 in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was the son of Wayne and Janet Elliott Chastain. Since the age of 10, Charles had resided in Indianapolis where he attended school and received his GED. He worked many years as a freelance tile setter in the Indianapolis area. He last worked for UPS as a dock worker. He enjoyed physical fitness, being in the gym working out, running, biking and socializing. He was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He had battled leukemia since 2007. Charles died on Sunday, May 10, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY Charles will be missed by his loving mother, Janet Elliott Chastain of Madison, Indiana; his brothers, Richard Wayne "Rick" Chastain of Madison, Indiana, and John Walter Chastain of Hancock County, Indiana; his nephew and his niece, Daniel Chastain and Madison Chastain; his cousin, Dennis. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Chastain.

HIS WISHESCremation was chosen with no service to be held.
