Bryce Isaac Melton

Mr. Bryce Isaac Melton, age 18 of Hanover, Indiana, entered this life on September 27, 2007 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was the loving son of Samuel Isaac Melton and Amelia Ann Gassert Tober. A life-long resident of Jefferson County, Bryce was a senior at Madison Consolidated High School. He also helped his dad in his construction business. He was looking forward to college with his goal to attend Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Bryce enjoyed gaming, studying history, watching sports with his dad, going to the Cincinnati Bengals games with his parents and going to concerts with his sister and his dad. Bryce liked traveling with his family and especially hanging out with friends and family. He was known to be a very pragmatic individual who looked at life differently. Bryce died on Sunday, December 7, 2025 in New Washington, Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY Bryce will be missed by his loving father, Samuel Isaac Melton of Madison, Indiana; his loving mother, Amelia Ann Gassert Tober and her husband, Michael of Hanover, Indiana; his loving sister, Ashley Melton of Hanover, Indiana; his paternal grandparents, Sam and Cathy Melton of Madison, Indiana; his maternal grandparents, Roger & Diane Gassert of Hanover, Indiana; his maternal great-grandmothers, Deloris "Chicken" Bruther of Hanover, Indiana; Nadine Gassert of Hanover, Indiana; his uncles and his aunts, Lance & Brianne Gassert of Terre Haute, Indiana, Lyle and Gina Everett of Madison, Indiana, Seth and Natasha Melton of Madison, Indiana; his cousins, John Henry Gassert, Elijah Gassert, Ava Gassert, Sam & Kyla Everett, Heidi Everett and her fiance, Cris Dinofa, Nora Melton and Sara Melton; several great-aunts, great-uncles and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lydia Beardsley, Nelle Nay, Emery Nay and Charles Melton, his maternal great-grandpas, Delbert "Deb" Bruther and Donnie Gassert.

FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 12, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Carmel Cemetery in Hanover, Indiana

VISITATION Friends may visit Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Friday, December 12, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
