Mr. Jon H. Brogan, age 55 of Madison, Indiana entered this life on January 3, 1955 in Middletown, Ohio. He was the son of Hearl H. and Geraldine Neff Brogan. He was raised in and attended school in Middletown, Ohio until 1971 when he moved to Madison. A 1973 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School, he was a star offense and defensive lineman for the Madison Cubs. He was united in marriage on October 16, 1986 in Hanover, Indiana to Christy D. Kimsey. This happy union was blessed with six children to grace their home. He was the co-owner of Christy's Candles for 22 years in Madison, Indiana. He had previously worked for Fed-Ex as owner/operator for three years and was owner of the Madison Video World for eight years. He had worked with his father at Hearl Brogan Chevrolet and Hearl Brogan Motorcycle Shop for many years. Jon was a devout Republican and enjoyed membership with the Young Republicans. He enjoyed Fox News, Politics, history, traveling, music trivia, Euchre, coaching from the couch, games of chance, and was animal lover except for "Bats". Jon will be missed so much by his family and circle of friends. Jon had an infectious smile and a charming wit. Jon never met a stranger and could entertain for hours with his knowledge and trivia. Jon died Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 7:55 a.m. at his home in Madison Indiana with his loving family at his side.
