Mr. Harold L. McCormick, age 66, of Commiskey, Indiana entered this life on December 14, 1943, in Jefferson County, Indiana, the son of Charles H. Sr. & Mary E. Stewart McCormick. He was raised in the Saluda, Marble Hill Community and was a member of the Elizabeth Baptist Church. Harold was inducted into the Indiana Army National Guard on June 18, 1963 rising to the rank of Specialist Four and was honorably discharged on April 29, 1969. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and construction worker. He was a member of the Jefferson Post 9, of the American Legion & the Madison VFW Post 1969. He enjoyed nature, camping and fishing. Harold died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 5:40 a.m. at the Jennings Healthcare in North Vernon, Indiana.

Harold will be missed by his loving wife: Marcia Sue Turner McCormick of Commiskey, Indiana; his loving mother: Mary E. Stewart McCormick Stout of Madison, Indiana; his sons: Mark McCormick, Matthew McCormick, & Patrick McCormick all of Florida; his daughter: Michelle McCormick of Florida; his brother: Charles McCormick, Jr. of Madison, Indiana; his sisters: Betty Sexton of Charlestown, Indiana, Yvonne Riley of Madison, Indiana; two nieces, one nephews & other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father: Charles Henry McCormick Sr. died: May 11, 1974; his step father: Charles Stout died: Jan. 14, 2000.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., by Pastor Ernie Lamb at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Springdale Cemetery in downtown Madison, Indiana, with full military honors conducted by Jefferson Post 9, of the American Legion and Fort Knox Ceremonial Unit.
VISITATION
Friends may call Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
