Mrs. Florence Wilma Heath Read, age 84, of Dupont, Indiana, entered this life on July 27, 1925 in Bartholomew County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Samuel Herman & Florence Pearl Corya Heath. She was raised in Hope and was a graduate of Columbus High School. She was united in marriage on August 11, 1946 to Guy Samuel Read. To this union arrived three sons & four daughters to bless their home. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a faithful member of the Dupont United Methodist Church in Dupont, Indiana. She loved farming and had farmed all of her life. She enjoyed her flowers, her garden, her animals, her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. She loved the outdoors and being on the farm. She was a faithful supporter of the Dupont Volunteer and Lancaster Volunteer Fire Departments. She enjoyed baking pies for the fire house. Wilma died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 8:26 p.m. at the home of her daughter in Scipio, Indiana with her loving family at her side.

Wilma will be missed by her loving daughters: Ginny Brooks & her husband: Gary of Scipio, Indiana, Peggy Sieg of Plainfield, Indiana, Gloria Marsh & her husband: Rick of Commiskey, Indiana; her loving sons: Scott Read & his wife: Ann of Dupont, Indiana, Delbert Dale Read & his wife: Anne of Dupont, Indiana, Curtis Read of Dupont, Indiana; brother: Paul Heath & his wife: Doris of Poway, California; her ten grandchildren: Mariah, Sommer, Devon, Wendy, James, Robert, Mandy, Samantha, Christopher & Michael; her eight step grandchildren: Natasha, Sasha, Kim, Joey, Tammy, John, Steve & Justin; her nine great grandchildren: Jailyn, Danny, Dacota, Grant, Jackson, Jared, Tatum, Alyssa, & Kamren; her step great grandchildren: Christina, Nancy, Michelle, Lindsay, Krystal, Timothy, Gary, Samantha, Samson, Emily, Katie, & Kirstie; her step great great grandchildren: Austin, Hunter, & Haylee; several nieces, nephews & other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents: Samuel Herman & Florence Pearl Corya Heath; her husband: Guy Samuel Read; her daughter: Marsha Lynn Read; her brother: Herman Albert Heath; her grandson: Robert Read.


FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., by the Rev. Marvin Wright and the Rev. Ed Gotts at the Dupont United Methodist Church in Dupont, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Dupont Cemetery in Dupont, Indiana.


VISITATION
Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at the Dupont United Methodist Church in Dupont, Indiana.
